Teacher resources are listed below that hopefully will supplement your teacher toolbox.

1. Kathy Schrock's Teacher Resources  Kathy shares wonderful resources and tools for teachers, many of which are geared towards technology. Her page is part of the Discovery Education website and easily links to a wealth of resources through Discovery.

2.  PBS Teacher Resources   Public Television never disappoints. This link takes you directly to the 9-12 Social Studies section that incorporates classroom resources, discussion forums, and professional development opportunities.

3.  Scholastic Teaching Resources  The Scholastic company provides this all purpose educational site that combines teacher resources, student activities, and of course fine learning products and supplies put out by Scholastic.

4.  Teachers Count    Do you need a pep talk?  The Teacher's Count website will help you remember why it is you chose our noble profession and it also mixes in a few useful resources, a job search engine, and teacher discounts.

5. Teacher's Corner    This is another full service teacher resource website. It has lots of printable worksheets, relevant lesson plans, job opportunities, and the latest education trends.

6. Schmoop Study Guides      This site is designed to make learning more fun and relevant for students in the digital age.  In the words of their own home page: " ... refreshing, fun, plain spoken study guides and teacher resources".

7.  Academic Information     This is a more sophisticated online education resource for the serious researcher and also contains in depth study guides and resource lists.

8.  Free Government Resources  This is a wonderful source for free teaching and learning materials provided by a number of federal agencies.

9.  Edutopia   This is the online version of the education magazine by the same name. It emphasizes what works in education.

10.  History Teacher   This is an award winning teacher created site with a vast array of resources, Powerpoints, links, and other useful teaching materials.
